Eco Fleet

PrevostEco Excursion Tour Coach (name TBA) – This 1988 40′ Van Hool tour coach has recently been purchased for the use of Eco Excursions.  We are in the process of retrofitting the interior as an eco tour coach.  The bus runs on biodiesel, the electric will be powered by solar and the interior will be designed and built with the greenest materials available.  We are currently exploring sponsorship opportunities for 2010.

Julia @ Loring Park, MNJulia – Named after the original owner and builder, Julia Butterfly Hill, this 1988 40′ Prevost has been retrofitted as an the countries “greenest” tour coach.  The bus runs on B100 biodiesel (sourced from recycled feedstock) and travels/sleeps 9 comfortably.  The bus includes full kitchen, bathroom, shower, lounge with flat-screen TV and stereo surround sound, storage for personal items and more.  Additionally, this bus has been built with “green” in mind: solar powered electricity, bamboo floors and siding, recycled redwood cabinets, high efficiency fridge/freezer, alcohol fueled stove, green cleaning materials, high-efficiency heater and air conditioning, and more!

priscilla1Priscilla – Priscilla, otherwise known as Queen of the Desert, is a beautiful 1979 40′MCI touring coach bus that runs on B100 biodiesel (sourced from recycled feedstock).  The bus has been used through-out the years to support activists groups such as Oxygen Collective, working to save old-growth Redwoods in Oregon, the Sustainable Living Roadshow, Students of Free Tibet and more.  Priscilla sleeps 14 comfortably and travels between 15-38 people, depending on the objective of the journey.  She is equipped with a full kitchen, fridge/freezer, ample storage, desk area and more.
