Creators of Eco Excursions have been organizing and participating in sustainable education and entertainment tours for over five years. We have organized local, national and global tours for a variety of groups, including non-profits, bands and businesses. We have also provided shuttle services for activist groups and gatherings, fund-raiser parties, sporting events and more. Our eco coach buses have been our platform to help bring sustainable edu-tainment and activism to the masses in the most efficient and eco-friendly means possible.
SF Eco Touring staff are experts in the field of all things “green”. Our staff has been networking nationally for over a decade with a wide-range of green businesses and local, national and global non-profit organizations. Our drivers and tour guides are knowledgeable and informative on topics relevant to your tour and help encourage stimulating dialogue, practical applications and opportunities for networking.
Staff
Zachary Carson – Zachary, otherwise known as the Coordinator of Chaos and Director/Co-Founder of the Sustainable Living Roadshow, is responsible for integrating the collective vision and extended network into Eco Excursions. Zachary has a BS from the University of Vermont in Ecological Design, Sustainable Development and Environmental Education. Zach has been organizing and producing tours for non-profits and bands throughout California, the US and West Africa since 2005. He has worked as a solar installer, a vegetable oil conversion mechanic, a green consultant for festivals and companies, a street canvasser for non-profits, a modern day nomad and is now combining his collective experience into the launch of Eco Excursions.
Ana Toepel – Ana is an educator, mother and passionate advocate for sustainability. She has worked in public schools for twelve years, as a classroom teacher, program developer, staff leader, and school “greening” director. She has also immersed herself in the sustainability movement through personal lifestyle choices, environmental and social justice activism and volunteer work with a variety of community and global organizations. Eco Excursions provides an exciting opportunity to combine her teaching and communication skills with her passion for promoting sustainable practices in her community.
